Born December 28, 1973,  Scituate, Massachusetts.

 

Education: Bachelor of Arts degree, Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine. Graduated Cum Laude in 1996, with a major in Studio Art. Studied with Mark Wethli and Anne Harris. Extensive independent coursework undertaken at Maine College of Art. Studied with Glenn Renell and Meg Payson.

 

  

Professional Experience:

 

1997              Muralist for Art Street Program, part of re-beautification of Boston’s North End

                      Freedom Trail.

1997-1998      Cotton Duck Cooperative Gallery, Boston, Massachusetts. Co-owner and

                      curator.

1998-99                        Art Instructor at Wisdom Middle-High School and Dr. Levesque Elementary School  

                      in St. Agatha, Maine.

1999-Present  Art instructor at Oak Hill High School in Sabattus, Maine.

1999-2001      Local 188 Gallery, Portland, Maine. Exhibitor.

2000              Bowdoin College Fishbowl Gallery. Group exhibition with artists Robert Colburn

                      and Nathaniel Meyer, entitled “Gumption Junction”.

2002              Thomas College Art Gallery. Group exhibition with Louis Meyer and Nathaniel

                      Meyer, entitled “Recent Work”.

2003-2005              Meyer Studio Gallery, Oak St., Portland, Maine. Co-owner and curator.

2007                    Work included in “Area Artists 2009” Biennial Exhibition at the Atrium

                     Gallery, University of Southern Maine, Lewiston/Auburn Campus.

2006-9           Maintained studio 309 in State Theater building, Portland, Maine.
